Northwest Medical Center will open the first freestanding emergency department in Vail.  The 11,500 square foot facility will be constructed at Houghton Town Center, 10146 East Old Vail Road, at the intersection of Houghton and Old Vail Roads.  Northwest Medical Center has leased the building from HTC MED I, LLC.   The new emergency center will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to serve patients.  Board-certified emergency physicians, registered nurses and other patient care providers will staff the center. Construction is scheduled to begin in January and is expected to be completed in late 2015. Bill Kelley with Diamond Ventures represented the landlord in this transaction.
